Trudy walks in on things and makes for an interesting mix to the plans of Cash. She was a stand-up girl. She knew who and what she was all about. She became a barrier to Cash's plans in more ways that trying to stop them.

This was an interest, but short read that left some things open for interpretation. There were avenues unexplored that just may come with the others releases from this collection. I enjoyed the characters, the atmosphere, the glimpse in to the mind of a man that feels so desperate to make things happen. The first installment left room for things to change, become challenging, and grow to something more intense.
