There’s a secret.

The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . Beltway Betrayers (The Beltway Series, #2) . . . Hold on for the ride you so have been looking for. This one was full of it all that you could imagine. Jealous, possessive, intense ex- or exes. What an impact these two secondary characters make on both Alex and T.J.’s lives. I have not read the first book in this series. Nor have I read any other book from this author. I found that I wanted to continue on to the next page. I wanted to see what it was about Alex that had me gravitating to her. Besides her independence, feisty attitude towards life and the very sexy, hot, and delicious man by her side, T.J..

I am going give it to you straight it took me a few chapters to get my feet under me. I was a bit on the outside looking in. But that all changed and I was full steam ahead on this one. I got romance but at the same time I got intrigue, drama, action, intense suspense, and Alex and T.J.. This was most certainly psychological. You had to keep up when you caught up and staying up on everything was imperative to your survival. I personally did enjoy this read. I found things that I loved and things that were not so much my norm. I found that the balance between them allowed for the read to flow for me and give me enjoyment.

The characters were rich, at times intense, possessive, delusional, confused, and deceptive. I guess that should encompass the characters that you are reading in a romantic psychological thriller.
